CPJ 55 – Vrac

CPJ 55 – Vrac

CPJ 55 CIMAT cement is a high quality hydraulic binder resulting from the cobinding of clinker, gypsum and additives. Thanks to its high resistance at young age, it is the most suitable for quick release concrete.

CPJ 55 CIMAT meets all chemical, physical and mechanical requirements of NM 10.1.004

This Portland cement is the result of the grinding of:

  • Clinker in a proportion greater than or equal to 80%.
  • 100% supplementation with one or more additives such as limestone or fly ash

CPJ 55 cement is mainly used in the production of highly durable concrete products. The rapid development of strength, indicates it as an ideal choice for the realization:

  • Highly stressed reinforced concrete structures.
  • Of prefabrication and manufactured concrete.
  • Pre-stressed concrete.
  • Injection grouting.
  • Works requiring quick stripping and high initial strengths.

The success of the work undertaken with this cement remains, of course, conditioned by the respect of the rules of good practice in matters of preparation, implementation and curing of concretes.

  • Storage should be in silos protected from all forms of moisture.
  • The quality of concrete also depends on the quality of other ingredients, so select and use aggregates and sands that are free of impurities.
  • When making your concrete and grout, pay particular attention to the water content.
  • Excess water alters the quality of concrete.
  • The use of additives is governed by well-defined rules, so consult a specialist before using them.
  • After placing concrete and grout, cure the surfaces by wetting for at least two days after application, especially in hot weather.
  • During periods of low temperature, the increase of cement dosages is of great help to guarantee a normal hardening of concretes and grouts.

CPA 65 – Vrac

CPA 65 – Vrac

CPA 65 is an artificial portland cement, the result of the grinding of +95% Clinker combined with a 100% complement of secondary constituents. This product is a hydraulic binder of very high mechanical performance, it is the best adapted to concretes intended for the industrial prefabrication thanks to its high resistances at young age.

CPA 65 meets all chemical, physical and mechanical requirements of NM 10.1.004

  • Highly stressed reinforced concrete structures (columns, beams and vaults undergoing high stresses...).
  • Prefabrication (Agglos, Hourdis and beams) and manufactured concrete with or without steaming.
  • Prefabrication of pre-stressed elements by pre-tensioning undergoing a heat treatment.
  • High performance concrete.
  • Concrete pavement and roadways.
  • Injection grout.
  • Works requiring fast form removal and high initial strengths.

Being made of 95% clinker, CIMAT's CPA 65 develops several advantages:

  • This cement is highly recommended for concrete work in cold weather, as its speed, reactivity and short-term resistance reduce the effects of cold.
  • Its strong exothermic reaction gives it exceptional performance for prefabricated products during the winter period.
  • Very high mechanical resistances that allow quick form removal.
  • Its high mechanical performance, particularly the compression strength developed at young ages, allows it to be used for highly stressed concrete or concrete requiring rapid stripping and intense handling.
  • An optimal curing time of CPA 65 cement, allows making the production line of prefabrication units more profitable by reducing the curing time and by quickly developing the required handling performances.
  • Program formulation suitability tests in order to make adjustments and adaptations to your industrial process for prefabricated products (optimal water dosage, choice of admixture, vibration time, vibration amplitude, steaming time, etc.).
  • Do not use excess water to thin concrete as it reduces strength and reduces durability.
  • Vibrate concrete to increase its quality (compactness and durability).
  • Use water-reducing or fluidifying plasticizing admixtures to facilitate installation and improve the strength and quality of the facing.
  • Apply surface protection (water spray, fogging, curing compound) to limit cracking.
  • Avoid high curing temperatures to limit the risk of shrinkage cracking.

The cement CPA 65 is a CIMAT product in accordance with the Moroccan standard NM 10.1.004, it is characterized by:

  • An average fasting age (2-day) strength of ≥ 30 Mpa.
  • Average 28-day strength of 52.5 MPa.
  • A water consistency is about 29%.
  • A start of setting at 20°C measured on pure paste only after 1h.
  • A hot expansion of about 0.5 mm.
  • SO3 content less than or equal to 4%.
  • A CI- content of less than 0.10%.
  • Shrinkage less than 1000 µm/m.
