Co-processing has been a priority for CIMAT since the design of our plants, which have been dimensioned in such a way that high levels and a wide range of waste can be recovered.
This recovery is carried out in strict compliance with the waste treatment pyramid, i.e. only co-processing waste that cannot be recycled: ordinary industrial waste, non-recyclable fraction of household waste, biomass and liquid substitute fuels (used oils, oil sludge, etc.)
In addition to waste recovery, in 2019 we have started the recovery of the STEP sludge generated by the wastewater treatment plant in Marrakech.
This recovery, the result of collaboration with RADEEMA, is the first ecological solution to the problem of wastewater treatment plant sludge on a national scale.
Following the development of our co-processing activity and our positioning as a major player in waste treatment, we wanted to contribute further to the structuring and professionalization of the sector by creating a new entity dedicated to this activity in 2019, .
From 2021, Valocim will be equipped with the necessary infrastructure for the collection, regrouping and pre-treatment of common industrial waste.
